Mildred Stacey Ngum
Our Founder
Mildred Stacey Ngum is the visionary behind the Emmverse Foundation, an organisation created to empower vulnerable girls, widows, single mothers, and survivors of domestic and psychological abuse. With a strong academic background in Law (LLB, LLM) and expertise in International Business Law and Privacy Law, Mildred combines legal expertise, visionary leadership, and compassion to drive meaningful change.
Emmverse Foundation was born out of Mildred’s deeply personal journey of resilience. Named in honour of her late mother, a university lecturer whose legacy of strength and education remains an inspiration to many. The Foundation represents restoration and empowerment.
The name “Emmverse” captures her mother’s essence while reflecting a vision of a new verse, a space where women can rise above pain, poverty, and powerlessness.
Drawing from her lived experiences, Mildred is determined to ensure that no woman or child is left behind. Through empowerment workshops, food and clothing drives, grief support and healing programmes, and advocacy services, she champions dignity, resilience, and hope for women and girls across the UK, Cameroon, and beyond.
Her guiding principle is simple yet powerful: ”The Verse Where Women Rise”

Empowerment for Widows & Survivors
We walk with widows and survivors of domestic, psychological, and sexual abuse on their journey from pain to power. Through healing programs, counselling support, vocational training, and community initiatives, we help women rebuild their lives with dignity and strength.
Legal Aid & Rights Awareness
Knowledge is power. We connect widows, single mothers, and survivors with legal guidance and rights awareness, supporting them in areas such as inheritance, family law, and protection from abuse. Through partnerships and workshops, we help ensure their voices are heard and justice is within reach.
